Oral herpes can be really unpleasant. It is not only irritating and long-lasting, the infection on the lips can be a real esthetic problem. Even though you can find a lot of products in the pharmacies, but you will still get those small scars on your skin after the infection is healed.
Oral herpes is an infection caused by the herpes simplex virus, and it can be transmitted by kissing, hugs and using same eating utensils. Once you are infected the virus remains in the body, hidden in the nerves around the mouth and nose, and appears always when your immunity is weak.
Pumpkin oil, available in every healthy food store, or 3% hydrogen peroxide can also help you heal oral herpes wounds. Lentil flour is another efficient remedy. Simply, cook a tablespoon of flour and 2 cups of hot water for a while and apply the remedy on the infected area.
Combine a tablespoon of salt and a tablespoon of baking soda, then add some water, enough to get a thick paste, and apply it several times a day.
Aloe vera, mint and propolis can also help you heal the infection.
