Keeping the bathroom clean is a must. On the other hand, it is no one’s thing, and it can turn into a toxic nightmare at times. Apart from the dirt mess that can be created, cleaning products contain toxic chemicals which are really harmful to our health. Namely, the biggest part of the common cleaners we use have bleach and a number of other harmful chemicals in their content.
Therefore, it would be absolutely irresponsible to continue using those items, as they can seriously harm us and endanger our health, as we cannot protect yourself from the toxic vapors.
Hence, you need to use something that is as effective, but much less harmful. Today, we will reveal a way to make the cleaning a less toxic task, and it will undoubtedly make your life easier.
We suggest a natural, but really effective recipe, which will help you whiten and clean your grout and tiles in a completely chemical- free way. What’s more, you will do it easily and quickly!
For its preparation, make sure you have the following ingredients:
- One teaspoon of liquid dish soap
- Half a cup of baking soda
- A quarter cup of hydrogen peroxide
Instructions:
In order to prepare your own homemade cleaning product, combine the ingredients in a small squeeze top bottle. The hydrogen peroxide will whiten and clean the stains and tiles naturally, and the baking soda will scrub all the stains and water accumulation in between the tiles.
Use:
If you need to clean some not very hard stains, apply the mix on a soft wet sponge and scrub the tiles and bathroom areas with it. Rinse with water.
For a deep clean, apply the mixture on the grout and tiles and leave it on for 5-10 minutes. It will dissolve all the dirt and water build up, so you will be able to scrub the stains easily afterwards.
Rinse, and repeat the process once more where there is still some dirt or hard water residue. The results are amazing! After the first time you use this amazing cleaning mix, you will no longer have this issue in the bathroom!
Once you have removed all the stains and your grout and tiles, you should make sure that it will remain spotless afterwards. Moreover, you should save yourself from the trouble of scrubbing again. Hence, you need to prepare the following recipe:
Mix water and vinegar in a ratio 1:1 and pour it in a spray bottle next to the shower. After showering, spray it down with this solution. It will provide great results, and it is advisable to use it 2-3 times a week.
